WooCommerce Integration
The TrackLogy WooCommerce plugin automatically syncs tracking numbers to your TrackLogy workspace whenever an order is fulfilled. Installation takes a few minutes — after that, everything runs in the background with no manual steps.
What the Plugin Does
- Monitors WooCommerce orders for fulfillment (when a tracking number is added to an order)
- Automatically creates a shipment in TrackLogy with the tracking number, order details, and customer info
- Allows TrackLogy to track the shipment and update its status in real time
- Your TrackLogy dashboard shows all WooCommerce shipments alongside any manually added ones
WooCommerce shipments are excluded from TrackLogy's email and SMS notification system. WooCommerce manages its own customer email notifications. TrackLogy tracks the shipment status but does not send emails or SMS for WooCommerce-sourced orders.
Installation
Download the plugin
The TrackLogy for WooCommerce plugin is available on the official WordPress plugin directory:
- WordPress.org (recommended): Search "TrackLogy for WooCommerce" in your WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New, or install directly from wordpress.org/plugins/tracklogy-for-woocommerce (opens in a new tab)
- TrackLogy dashboard: my.tracklogy.com/integrations (opens in a new tab) — find WooCommerce and click Get Plugin
Upload and activate
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel
- Navigate to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Choose the downloaded ZIP file and click Install Now
- Click Activate Plugin
Connect to TrackLogy
In your WordPress admin, open the TrackLogy menu in the sidebar (or go to WooCommerce → TrackLogy).
Click the Connect Store button. This opens the TrackLogy connection approval page.
No API key entry is required in WordPress. The connection is handled automatically — credentials are exchanged securely between the plugin and TrackLogy.
Approve the connection
On the TrackLogy approval page:
- Sign in to your TrackLogy account if prompted
- Review the store details shown
- Click Approve Connection
TrackLogy sends the credentials to your WordPress store automatically, and you are redirected back to your WordPress admin with a "Store connected" confirmation.
That's it — the plugin is now active and will auto-sync all future orders.
How Auto-Sync Works
Once connected, everything is automatic. When a tracking number is added to a WooCommerce order, the plugin sends a request to:
POST https://api.tracklogy.com/v1/shipmentsWith the following data extracted from the WooCommerce order:
| Field | Source |
|---|---|
tracking_number | Tracking number on the order |
tracking_provider | Carrier selected (if available) |
customer_name | WooCommerce billing name |
customer_email | WooCommerce billing email |
customer_phone | WooCommerce billing phone |
customer_address | WooCommerce shipping address |
order_id | WooCommerce order ID |
order_number | WooCommerce order number |
store_url | Your WordPress site URL |
source | woocommerce |
Store Management
When the plugin first syncs a shipment from your store, TrackLogy automatically creates a store record linked to your WordPress URL. You can find and manage this store under Dashboard → Stores.
If the same store URL is detected again, subsequent syncs will link to the existing store record (no duplicates).
Disconnecting
A store can only be disconnected from the TrackLogy dashboard, not from WordPress. Go to Dashboard → Stores, find your store, and remove it. TrackLogy will automatically notify the plugin to clear its credentials.
Webhook (Real-time Status Updates)
The plugin registers a webhook endpoint that TrackLogy uses to push real-time status updates back to your store:
https://your-store.com/wp-json/tracklogy-for-wc/v1/webhookThis allows the plugin to update WooCommerce order notes and trigger actions (such as marking an order as delivered) when a shipment status changes.
