Email Notifications
TrackLogy sends branded email notifications to your customers whenever their shipment status changes. Emails are sent through Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) using your own Brevo API key — so they come from your domain, not TrackLogy's.
How Email Notifications Work
- A shipment's status changes (e.g. carrier picks it up)
- The new status maps to an email template key (e.g.
in_transit) - If this status is enabled in your store's email settings, an email is queued
- TrackLogy checks that the shipment has a
customer_emailset - If the same status email hasn't been sent before for this shipment, it sends via Brevo
- The email uses your custom template (or a built-in default) with variables substituted
The same status email is sent at most once per shipment. This prevents duplicate notifications if a carrier briefly re-reports an earlier status.
Setting Up Brevo
Create a Brevo account
Sign up at brevo.com (opens in a new tab) if you don't have one. The free tier allows 300 emails/day.
Get your Brevo API key
In Brevo, go to SMTP & API → API Keys and create a new API key.
Add the key to TrackLogy
In your TrackLogy dashboard, go to Store Settings → Email for the store you want to configure. Paste your Brevo API key.
Set your sender details
Enter your sender name (e.g. "Your Store Name") and sender email address. Make sure the sender domain is verified in Brevo.
Per-Status Enable/Disable
You can independently enable or disable email notifications for each status. By default:
