What Data We Collect

TrackLogy collects and processes the following categories of data:

Account data: Name, email address, and payment information provided when you sign up. Payment details are processed by Stripe and never stored on TrackLogy servers.

Shipment data: Tracking numbers, carrier identifiers, shipment status events, and associated order metadata (order ID, customer email if provided). This data is submitted by you via the dashboard or API.

Customer notification data: If you configure email or SMS notifications, TrackLogy processes recipient email addresses or phone numbers solely to deliver those notifications. We do not store recipient contact details beyond what is required for delivery.

Usage data: API request logs, error logs, and billing usage metrics. These are retained for operational and billing purposes.

Technical data: IP addresses, browser type, and session data collected automatically when you use the dashboard or documentation site. This site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

How We Use Your Data

  • Operate and improve the TrackLogy platform
  • Deliver shipment tracking updates and customer notifications on your behalf
  • Process billing and send invoices
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.

Data Retention

Shipment data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after account closure, unless you request earlier deletion. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.

Your Rights

Sub-processors

Key sub-processors include: Stripe (payments), Brevo (email delivery), Twilio / MSG91 / Vonage / AWS (SMS delivery), Cloudflare (CDN and DDoS protection).
